New Website!

As you can see I have a new website. A million thanks to the brilliant Jill Hubley for her web design skills. I am still learning how to make all of this work, so if something is not right, please get in touch by clicking on the contact link above.

I am planning to make this site more dynamic than my old site, with updates on my current research as well as occasional topical commentary (ie, blog posts). For now, I'm calling the blog "Epistemological Impossibilities." If I decide to stick with that title, I'll explain it down the road. Suggestions for less wordy two-word titles are welcome.

I will be presenting three times in November. Two of the talks are at academic conferences and are based on my current dissertation research. The third is based on my other, more life-long interest: three chords and a cloud of dust, the international punk movement of the 1970s and 1980s. I hope to see you at one of these presentations.

In addition to all the content here, I have dozens of other articles on what I call "the political economy of bad music" posted on my other site.
